ELIGIBILITY:
As per ELIGIBILITY criteria mentioned in central government’s The Rights of Persons with Disability Act 2016

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Passport size photo, Aadhar card, ration card photocopy of medical certificate from specialized doctors, community certificate, signature/thumb impression.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME:
Unique Identity Card for Persons with Disabilities shall be provided to those who have registered online.

ELIGIBILITY:
Persons with more than 40% disability are eligible. (1. Locomotor disability, 2. Muscular Dystrophy, 3. Leprosy cured, 4. Dwarfism, 5. Cerebral Palsy, 6. Acid attack Victim, 7. Low vision, 8. Blindness, 9. Deaf, 10. Hard of Hearing, 11. Language Speech and Disability, 12. Intellectual Disability, 13. Specific Learning Disability, 14. Autism Spectrum Disorder, 15. Mental illness, 16. Chronic Neurological Conditions, 17. Multiple sclerosis, 18. Parkinson’s disease, 19. Haemophilia, 20. Thalassemia, 21. Sickle Cell disease)

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Identity Card for persons with disabilities

ELIGIBILITY:
Persons suffering from more than 40% disability in Mentally Retardation. Also those who have not received physical disability allowance from revenue dept.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card and Disability Certificate given by the concern Govt. Doctors , Passport size photo, Aadhar card photocopy, certificate from village administrative officer stating that the person has not received benefits from other departments, Savings Banked Account, Ration card photocopy.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME:
Rs.1500/- per month

ELIGIBILITY:
Persons suffering from more than 40% Muscle Dystrophy.. Also those who have not received physical disability allowance from revenue dept.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Passport size photo, Aadhar card photocopy, Ration card photocopy, certificate from village administrative officer stating that the person has not received benefits from other departments, Savings Banked Account.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Rs.1500/- per month

ELIGIBILITY:
Persons suffering from more than 40% Leprosy. Also those who have not received physical disability allowance from revenue dept.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Passport size photo, Aadhar card photocopy, Ration card photocopy, certificate from village administrative officer stating that the person has not received benefits from other departments’ savings banked account.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Rs.1500/- per month

ELIGIBILITY:
Persons suffering from more than 75% severely disabled persons who have not received physical disability allowance from revenue dept.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Passport size photo, Aadhar card photocopy, Ration card photocopy, certificate from village administrative officer stating that the person has not received benefits from other departments’ savings banked account.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Rs.1500/- per month

ELIGIBILITY:
Persons aged between 18 and 45, visually challenged, disability in arms and legs ,hearing impaired, and also the persons should not have borrowed from any other banks

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Passport size photo, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy, savings bank passbook.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME:
Recommendation to the bank to grand loan upto Rs.75000.Atleast 1/3rd or maximum Rs.25000 subsidy shall be provided.

ELIGIBILITY:
Should not have received loans from any other banks. Age should not be less than 18 and no limit for maximum age. Parents of mentally retarded persons below 14 are eligible for the loan.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Passport size photo, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy, certificate from village administrative officer stating that the person has not received benefits from other departments, linked savings banked account, ration card photocopy. Cooperative societies’ membership certificate.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Loan application from Central Cooperative banks operating in that district or cooperative societies nearby or urban cooperative banks should be submitted. Should produce 1 guarantor for loans till Rs.25000. Should produce 2 guarantors for loans till Rs.50000.Should provide applicant’s property as a guarantee for loan amounts beyond Rs.50000.Loan shall be disbursed at 4% interest. For non defaulting repayers, the government shall subsidize the interest rate. 

ELIGIBILITY:
Should not have received loans from any other banks. Age should not be less than 18 and no limit for maximum age. Disability groups are also eligible for self employment loan for banks.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Apart from application registered online, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy, photograph of the notice of the scheme should be submitted to the General Manager, District Industrial Center, Ranipet.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Amount within the range of Rs.25, 000 to Rs.25, 00, 000 shall be recommended to be disbursed by nationalised banks. Through District Industral Center 35% grant for physically challenged persons in rural areas, center 25% Subsidy for physically challenged persons in urban areas and additional 5% Subsidy through District Differently Abled Welfare Office, Ranipet. Ranipet District.

ELIGIBILITY:
1) 8th standard pass
2) Should not have obtained loan from any other bank
3) Age limit 18 to 45 years

Along with the application registered online, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy, photograph of the notice of the scheme to be produced to General Manager, District Industrial Center, Ranipet

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Amount within the range of Rs.25, 000 to Rs.5, 00, 000 shall be recommended to be disbursed by nationalized banks. Through District Industrial Center 25% Subsidy for physically challenged persons by the DIC and additional 5% Subsidy through District Differently Abled Welfare Office, Ranipet. Ranipet District.

ELIGIBILITY:
Should have registered at employment office. After completion of 1 year. Should be holder of Identity card for disabled persons. Should not have received any disability grant.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Those who have registered within 45 years of age shall receive for a period of 10yrs. Rs.600 till 10th standard. Rs.750 for 12th standard. Rs.1000 grant for any graduation for a period of 10 yrs. CONTACT PERSON: Deputy Director, District Employment Office.

ELIGIBILITY:
Should be a person with leg or arm disability or hearing impaired or Mild Mentally Retardation or Mother of 75% Mentally Retardation, Age should be between 18 and 45, should have completed tailoring training

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy, photograph of the person, Tailoring course completion certificate.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Motorized Sewing machines hall be provided free of cost.

Rs.50,000 subsidy and deposit for starting of Aavin milk outlets for the differently abled

ELIGIBILITY:
1st to 8th standard students

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy, Passbook of savings bank account.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME:
Rs.1000 for 1st to 5th standard.
Rs.3000 for 6th to 8th standard

ELIGIBILITY:
9th to 12th standard and I.T.I Students

Application, Attestation by the Head Master Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Aadhar card photocopy Ration card photocopy, Passbook of savings bank account, Proof which confirms that the student has scored more than 40% the previous year

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Rs. 4000 for 9th to 12th standard.

ELIGIBILITY:
Polytechnic, Graduation, Post-Graduation.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy, Passbook of savings bank account, Proof which confirms that the student has scored more than 40% the previous year.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Rs.6000 grant for Polytechnic and graduation.
Rs.7000 grant for Post Graduation studies.

ELIGIBILITY:
Full time student studying above 9th standard in a govt recognized school or Students for Graduate Colleges and Post Graduate Collages

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy, Passbook copy of savings bank account.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Scholarship on Education fee, hostel fee, transport fee, book fee, and scribe fee for visually challenged students shall be provided.

Students from 9th to 10th standard shall receive benefits in the range of Rs.8465 to Rs.46000

11th standard to polytechnic or graduation students will receive in the range of Rs.15000 to Rs.1,00,000.

Post graduates and doctorate students shall receive a maximum amount of Rs. 2,00,000.

The application should be registered online. Educational institutions shall recommend through online only.

Provides a stipend of Rs. 3,000 for the visually impaired, physically disabled who have completed legal education to register with the Bar Council as lawyers and purchase law books.

ELIGIBILITY:
Persons travelling to schools, colleges, Hospitals and work

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME:
Free bus fare from house till school or college or workplace or hospital.

ELIGIBILITY:
Should be a visually challenged person, Should be an holder of Identity card for disabled persons

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy,3 passport size photos

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Free bus fare within the district 

ELIGIBILITY:
Should be an holder of Identity card for disabled persons. Should pay 25% of the bus fare as the remaining fare shall be accounted by the Differently Abled Welfare Officer

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
A Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons shall be produced to the conductor of State owned Government bus.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME:

Bus pass to travel throughout entire Tamilnadu (1/4th share)

ELIGIBILITY:
Should be an holder of Identity card for disabled persons. The disabled persons shall only be travelling with the person subscribing the scheme.

Photocopy of Doctor’s certificate recommending a person to accompany the physically challenged person and a Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons shall be produced to the conductor of the bus.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Bus pass to travel throughout entire Tamilnadu for the person accompanying the disabled person(1/4th share).

Those with Severe Disability may get certificate from concerned Government Doctors (Orthopedic Surgeon / Ophthalmologist / ENT Specialist / Pediatrician / Psychiatrist) and submit in the Railway Station and get Three Fourth Train Travel Concession.

ELIGIBILITY:
Should be the first marriage for the person. Should be a person with leg or arm disability or hearing impaired or visually challenged. Should not have applied for marriage grant previously from other govt departments. Should be aged between 18 and 35.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy, marriage invitation, marriage photo, marriage register certificate, village administrative officer’s proof that the concerned person is marrying for the first time.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME:
A grant of Rs.12500,national savings certificate of Rs.12500 and 8 gm gold for marriage chain.

ELIGIBILITY:
Should be the first marriage for the person. Should be a person with leg or arm disability or hearing imapired or visually challenged. One of the pair should be a polytechnic or a college graduate. Should not have applied for marriage grant previously from other govt departments. should be aged between 18 and 35.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS::
Application, Photocopy of Identity card for disabled persons, Aadhar card photocopy, ration card photocopy, marriage invitation, marriage photo, marriage register certificate, village administrative officer’s proof that the concerned person is marrying for the first time, Graduation degree certificate.

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: A grant of Rs.25000,national savings certificate of Rs.25000 and 8 gm gold for marriage chain.

ELIGIBILITY:
1) Should be a graduate or a worker aged between 18 and 45
2) Should have lost both the legs and should be able to operate the scooter with hands

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Petrol scooter with support wheels attached shall be provided free of cost.

ELIGIBILITY:
Those with disability identity card shall receive benefits without any income limitations. The family members of the beneficiary shall also be benefited from this card.

Honorable Chief minister’s Health Insurance Card.

Hearing impaired persons who are having honorable Chief minister’s Health Insurance card

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME: Behind Ear Hearing aid device shall be provided free of cost.

ELIGIBILITY: Amputees of Upper Limb and Lower Limb persons who are having honorable Chief minister’s Health Insurance card

BENEFITS UNDER THIS SCHEME:
Modular Artificial Limb (Upper Limb and Lower Limb Prosthetic Appliances) at the cost of 30,0000 to 1.50 Lakhs.
